About Ramón García
Ramón García is General Director of the Centro Español de Logística (CEL), the benchmark association for supply chain management in Spain. He is also Vice-President and General Director of the innovation cluster CITET and Vice-President of the eAPyme federation. He has more than 20 years of experience in the area of Supply Chain Management, sustainability and innovation and urban logistics, developed in multinational companies (Grupo El Corte Inglés, GSK and BASF) and business associations, playing technical, project management, consulting and management roles.
Since 2001, he has collaborated as an associate lecturer with various universities and business schools and has participated as a speaker at international meetings related to Logistics and Freight Transport.
He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management and a degree in Economics from the Carlos III University of Madrid, a Master in Quality Management from Centro de Estudios Universitarios Ramón Areces (CEURA) and a Master in Logistics for Security and Defence Systems from the Rey Juan Carlos University, has obtained the European Certification in Logistics (ESLog) awarded by ELA (European Logistics Association), is "Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)" and "Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)" by APICS and thanks to his contribution to the logistics profession is "Certified Fellow in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM-F)" by APICS.
